G8 - 35th Group of Eight Annual Meeting
The leaders of the Group of Eight major industrialized economies meet annually at the G-8 Summit. The focus of the 2009 summit in L’Aquila, Italy (July 8 to 10) is on efforts to promote global economic recovery and to build a consensus for financial reforms.
